CART conducted a Street Survey that was designed to gather the input from San Francisco’s unhoused community on what an alternative to police response to homelessness should look like.
Since people experiencing homelessness will be the primary recipients of the CART alternative, it was of paramount importance to have their ideas inform the recommendations process.
